Sonatine is a chamber group composed of classical musicians playing (primarily) non classical music.

The group was formed by Carmel to originally perform his arrangements for Ravel's Sonatine, hence the name. Since then, Sonatine went sideways and decided to go head on with original music and arrangements for different kind of genres. From modern interpretations of Baroque, to Turkish Samai, back to Progressive Metal - the group will color the music they love. In essence, the neo-classical style of Ravel is still there.​
